With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Homer Leon Hicks of Cedar Grove, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 29, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Hicks and Chessie Riddick Hicks. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Hicks; his children, Gina Bush (Dennis) of Cedar Grove, Sherry Hicks of Cedar Grove and Jason Hicks (Glenda) of Huntingdon; and his grandchildren, Cassie Wood, Brandon Walker, Jacqualyn Ramsey, Shannon Loftis, Dylan Hicks, Leah Cary, Brett Kee and Brittany Gowan. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cherrywood Room of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home (21190 E Main St, Huntingdon, TN 38344).
