He was predeceased by: his wife Hilda Ann Murphy Morris; his parents, Henry Lee and Edith Fortner Morris; his daughter Kay Copeland; his siblings, Louis, Robert, Eugene Morris, Margaret Brewer, Annie Mae Brown and Louise Stewart; and his grandson Jimmy Morand.
He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Church (Ray) of Cheatham, TN; and his caregivers, Phyllis and Steve Johnson. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Heads Church Cemetery (3158 Heads Church Rd, Cedar Hill, TN 37032).
