We announce the death of Phillip Carr of Cedar Hill, Tennessee, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 88. Phillip will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Nello Wayne and Mary Irene Carr; his wife Neada Ray Carr (George); his siblings, Cleland Carr, Mary Margaret Sills, William Carr (Bill), Eva Hargis, Don Carr, Wayne Carr and Kay Carpenter; his sons, George Carr and Andrew Carr; and his grandsons, Christian Carr and Gunther Helm.

He is survived by: his sister June Osborne; his daughter-in-law Debbie Carr; his children, Tony Carr, Mary Castleman and Chris Carr (Joan); his daughter-in-law JoAnna Carr; and his children, Eve Helm (Wayne), Stephen Carr (Beth) and Nathan Carr (Michelle).
