She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Mae (West) and Fowler Bedford Clinton; her spouse Willie Milton Pennington; her son-in-law Doug Smith; and her siblings, Robert Edward "Bob" Clinton, Edwin Hale "Jam Up" Clinton, Ray D. Clinton, Dorothy Alyne Mendenhall and Frankie Boles.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mildred Cirrincione (Frank) of Allons, TN, Janie Smith, Patricia Gannon of Lewisburg, WV and Mary Pennington of Tompkinsville, KY; and her grandchildren, Shane Smith (Lesley), Dr. Thomas Gannon (Ladonna), Christina Young (Johnny), April Patterson (Nick) and Dr. Todd Strong. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 3:30 PM at the Doc Hall Cemetery.
