She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Boerstler and Helena Keebler Boerstler; her husband John Downs; and her siblings, Jack Boerstler, Jim Boerstler and Roberta Sheffield.
She is survived by: her children, Don Downs (Vilinda) of Celina, Tennessee and Bonnie Wright of Earleton, Florida; her grandchildren, Clayton Downs, Brian McRae, Barret McRae, Bevin Michewicz and Becky Balderson; and her brother William Boerstler.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Funeral Home & Cemetery (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210). A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 15th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Funeral Home (1101 Lebanon Pike, Nashville, TN 37210).
