She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Belcher and Dorothy Belcher (Harlan); her husband Boyd Parsons; her son Patrick Bruce Parsons; and her sisters, Betty Smith and Beatrice Hale.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rissa Herndon (Gary) of New Palestine and Tammy York (Bill) of Acton; her brother Frank Belcher (Janice) of Greenfield; her grandchildren, Melissa Gipson (Mike), Jennifer Pyrcioch (Jake), Jonathan Schiewer (Chelsea) and Julianne Dale (Jacob); her sister-in-law Mary Webb of Celina, Tennessee; and her friend Carol Billlingsley of Indianapolis. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
