With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Joyce Dorton in Centerville, Tennessee, born in Hickman, Tennessee, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father H. W. "Dubbs" Thompson; her husband Paul Dorton; and her nephew Chad Thompson. She is survived by : her daughter Tina Truett (Mark); her grandson Kent Truett (Macy); her great grandchild Charlie Truett; and her brother Wayne Thompson.
