With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Overbey of Centerville, Tennessee, who passed away on January 23, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Overbey and Nora Davis Overbey; his wife Beatrice Overbey; and his siblings, Betty Sue Floyd, Ray Overbey and Cecil Overbey.

He is survived by: his daughter Karen Taylor (Bryan); his sisters-in-law, Gladys Overbey and Alberta Overbey; his grandchildren, Kassie Tidwell (Zachary) and Korey Taylor; and his great grandchildren, Thomas Tidwell and Charlotte "Charlie" Tidwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
