She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Scates and Mitchell Scates; her son Victor Moore (Jeanette); her siblings, Sarah Cowan (Vator), Jean Mills (Alfred), Dorothy Scates, Mitchell Scates, Jr. (Audrey), Johnny Scates (Shiral), Marshall Scates (Loretta) and Kenneth Scates; and her brother-in-law Reginald Flagg.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mimi Moore Bell (Doug) of Los Angeles, CA, Carla Moore of Centerville, TN, Hobrina Moore Taylor of Centerville, TN and Dr. Kindra Smith (Michael) of Canton, GA.; her grandchildren, D. J. Key of Centerville, TN, Victoria Smith of Canton, GA and Trey Smith of Canton, GA; her great grandchild Kali Key of Centerville, TN.; her siblings, Joe Scates (Brenda) and Mary Flagg of Centerville, TN; her uncle Bro. Graham McGill of Union City, TN; and her sister-in-law Mable Scates.
