She was predeceased by: her husband Marlin Washington Beard; and her parents, Gracie Powers (Berryman) and James "Shortie" Powers. She is survived by: her great grandchildren, Sutherlyn Grace Cude, Brooks Marlin Cude, Lyla Palmer Morris and Emmy Reagan Morris; and her sister Hattie Mayberry. She is also survived by her children and their spouses, two grandchildren and their spouses, four great grandchildren.
