It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Wayne Benge (Centerville, Tennessee), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2022, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father Monroe Benge; his brother Monroe Benge, Jr.; his grandparents, Clarence, Pauline McCoy, Charlie and Nellie Benge; and his nephew Bobby Joe Gorrell.

He is survived by : his former life partner Johnnie Moore; his daughters, Kayla Sisk (Matt) and Cherety Benge; his stepsons, Caleb Tanner (Tiffany) and Joshua Tanner (Crystal); his sisters, Marlene Anderson (Jim), Debra Gorrell (Joe), Laura Cato and Tammy Overman (Ralph); and his grandchildren, Lane, Rylee, Kylie, Kane Sisk, Paisley, Josie and Aleah Tanner. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
