She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Capps and Louise Stephens; and her sisters, Ruby, Melissa and Nancy.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kimberly Hinson (Aaron), Crystal Bates (David) and Kaley Richards (Christopher); her grandchildren, Breesha, Gracey, Emmy, Alyssa and Blayke; her great grandchildren, Thomas, Jaxson and Paisley; and her close friend Bobby Vaughn. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
