He was predeceased by: his parents, W. O. Roder and Myrtle Breece Roder of Centerville; his wife Opal Tarkington; and his brother Edward Roder. He is survived by: his children, Janese (Keith) of Franklin, Dianna (Lonnie) of Chattanooga and Tony (Bonnie) of Hampshire; his grandchildren, Kasey Allen, Austin Allen (Sara), Elliott McCeney (Baileah), Caleb McCeney, Callie McCeney, Cole Davis (Sadie), Abby Davis and Sadie Roder; and his great grandchildren, Koehn Allen, Jax Allen and Knox Allen. He is also survived by his wife, his children & grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 30th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McDonald Funeral Home, Inc. - Hickman County (102 West End Ave, Centerville, TN 37033). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 1st 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
