He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wadley Daniel and Mary Louise Jackson McMeen; and his grandson Noah Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Judy Manley Daniel; his sons, James Daniel, Jr. and Christopher Steven Daniel; and his sister Cheryl Atkinson. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
