He was predeceased by : his parents, H. C. "Coley" Mayberry and Mary Victoria Atkinson Mayberry; his wife Idell Daugherty Mayberry; his daughter Sharon Jo Mayberry Brown; and his siblings, Gail Cannon and Don Mayberry.

He is survived by : his granddaughter Sonya Daniels (Jeffrey); his children, Jared Brown and Sierra Brown; his great grandchildren, Anthony Daniels, Bartlett Daniels and Victoria Daniels; and his brothers, Billy Ray Mayberry and Jack Mayberry.
