Judy Dean Hines Overbey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 80, Judy Dean Hines Overbey of Centerville, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry Hines and Minnie Garner Hines; and her siblings, Larry Hines and Reba Carpenter (Liburn). She is survived by: her husband William Overbey; her children, Michael Overbey, Phillip Overbey (Tina) and Sharon Holt (Eric); her brother Jerry Hines (Janet); her sisters-in-law, Sally Overbey and Sharon Hines; her grandchildren, Jerrid Ashmore (Kaylee) and Allison Brewer (Andrew); and her stepgrandsons, Bobby Taylor, Bryant Gidcomb and Corey Gidcomb. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the High Forest Humane Society, in memory of Judy's lifelong dedication to animals and their well-being.
