He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Pond, Michael Pond, Destiney Garrett and Erica Godwin; and his siblings, Rick Pond, Kenneth Raines, Richard Lee Pond, R. C. Pond, Kay Young, Pamela Wilkes, Deborah Jackson and Missy. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren.
