With sadness, we share the passing of Alma Sue Cooper James of Chapel Hill, Tennessee. Alma, born on August 1, 1951, passed away on September 5, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Cooper and Sue Bates Cooper; her siblings, Ricky Cooper, Jimmy Cooper and Janice Barnard; and her sister-in-law Beth Dickson.

She is survived by: her husband Bobby James of Chapel Hill, TN; her daughter Rhonda Walls (Spence) of Chapel Hill, TN; her grandsons, Mason Walls (Hannah) and Spencer Murdock (Landry); her great grandchildren, Kelso Murdock and Whitley Ray Walls; and her niece Jennifer Tanner.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Williamson Memorial Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 at 3:45 PM at the Williamson Memorial Gardens (3009 Columbia Ave, Franklin, TN 37064).
