He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Donald Smithson and Ivy Lee Henson Smithson; and his wife Peggy Smithson. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Bradford (Chris) of Chapel Hill, TN; his grandchildren, Amanda Hargrove (Kenneth) of Franklin, TN and Tyler McPeak (Courtney) of Chapel Hill, TN; his great grandchildren, Kylee Hargrove, Oliver McPeak, Owen McPeak and Emery Hargrove; his sister Vicky; his brother-in-law Kenneth Hartley; his nephew Kevin Hartley; his niece Michelle Robertson (Jason); and his cousins, Sandy, Mackie Glenn and Julia Taliaferro. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
