She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lewis Howard and Gladys Virginia Worsham Howard; her husband Bobby Gene Batte; her son Randy Batte; and her siblings, Juanita Howard Smith, Bobby Howard and Billy Howard.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Batte Gillespie (Jack); her siblings, Carol Howard Webb and Lewis Howard; her grandchildren, Carla Gillespie Brown (Barrow), Randall Gillespie (Amy) and Blake Gillespie (Bekah); and her great grandchildren, Ashtyn Claire Brown, Owen Gillespie, John Collins Gillespie, Jack Gillespie, Ivy Gillespie and Beau Gillespie.
