He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Jewell Blackwell and Ruth Phillips Blackwell; his siblings, Billy Blackwell and Betty Welch; and his brother-in-law Jim Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Gale Blackwell; his children, Wayne Blackwell and Tabatha Blackwell of Lebanon, TN; his grandson Adam Blackwell; and his siblings, Tommy Blackwell of Fayetteville, TN and Becky Kimbrough of Murfreesboro, TN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
