We are sad to announce that on October 6, 2025, at the age of 87, Rosemary Priester Bomar (Chapel Hill, Tennessee), born in Meridian, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Col. Julian Clyde Bomar; her daughter Julianne Bomar Elder; and her brothers, Bill and Alan Priester. She is survived by: her daughters, Janna Suzanne Woods (Jim) and Jennifer Jolynne Logan (Patrick); her grandchildren, Christoper Julian Mashburn, Lauren Ashley Elder Wisniewski (Nick), Jessica Langston Hibler Wilson (Clay), Zachary Mark Elder (Hannah) and James Douglas Woods IV (Abbey); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Parker, Lucy, Pearson, Elliot, Dylan Rose, Andi, Robbie, Maddox, Asher, Remington and Jonah.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 2855 Unionville Rd, Chapel Hill, TN 37034.
