She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilks Underwood and Callie Underwood; her children, Linda Markum, Margaret Williams and Charles Brown; and her grandson John Williams.
She is survived by: her husband George Brown; her sons-in-law, William Markum and Johnny Williams; and her grandchildren, Charles Flynn (Hayley), Tonya Stewart (Matt), James Flynn (Angie), Chris Williams (Jessica) and Callie Perry (Stephen). She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
