It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rosa Balthrop of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, who passed away on September 5, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Leslie and Pearlie Ina Frey Gibson; her husband Howard Balthrop; her siblings, Winnie Kessler, Carl "Hoot" Gibson (Alberta) and Willard Gibson; and her granddaughter Katherine Rose Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Harold "Clay" Balthrop (Pat), Connie Holman (David) and Cheryl Noe (Derek); her brother Robert Gibson (Maryanne); and her grandchildren, Jason Balthrop (Trish), Adam Balthrop (Sabrina), Amanda Darnell (Chuckie), Stephanie Flannery (Jason), John Holman, Sam Davis, Grace Wallace (Kevin), Mitchell Noe and Myles Noe. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mallory's Church (4330 Thomasville Rd, Chapmansboro, TN 37035). A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
