He is survived by: his mother Patricia Kay Messer Hicks; his son Preston Hicks (Ashley Nichole Hicks); his grandchildren, Riley Lauren Hicks and Jacob Preston Hicks; his stepgrandchildren, William Hunter Leamon and Logan Fisher Leamon; his sisters, Patty Kay Hicks (Roger Williams), Angel Ray Moore (Jack Mahaffey) and Susie Marie Toomey (Randy); and his siblings' children, Randall Carter, Victoria Moore, Michael Moore, Chelsie Nelson and Chase Toomey.
