It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Justin Batey of Charlotte, Tennessee, born in Dickson, Tennessee, who passed away on April 21, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Batey and Betty Duke Batey. He is survived by: his son Coty Batey (Jenni) of Charlotte, TN.; his brothers, Jackie Batey (Nancy) of Charlotte, TN and W. H. Batey (Reggie) of Charlotte, TN.; his grandson Andrew "Drew" Henry Batey of Charlotte, TN; Glenda Batey.
