He is survived by: his wife Melanie Batey (Spann); his children, Bobby Slayden Batey (Shelby) and Whitney Kathleen Stockton (Derik); his stepchildren, Kristen Pardue (Hunter) and Robert Stitt (Ellen); his nephew Dan Hooper; and his grandchildren, Jackson Pewitt, Braxton Pewitt, Becca Batey, Rhett Batey, Lily Batey, Winsten Atchley, Wrenley Atchley, Baleigh Stockton, Logan Stockton, Emory Stitt and Rhys Stockton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
