With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alan Ray Beard of Chattanooga, Tennessee, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Beard and Inez Beard; his sister Dixie Bruggeman; and his in-laws, Bob and Linda Gish.

He is survived by: his wife Yesenia Beard; his children, Genette Dugger (Ryan), Stephanie Beard and Wil Beard; his siblings, Sandy Mathews and Robert Beard (Alecia); his grandsons, Max and Leon Dugger; and his former wife JoLynn LaCroix (Ray). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
