He was predeceased by: his parents, Arch Trimble Sr. and Elizabeth Reed Trimble; his former wife Lou Gass Trimble; his sons, Lt. Arch Trimble, III, Dr. Steven Trimble and Thomas Trimble; and his grandson Tommy Trimble.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Trimble; his children, Beth Geary (Tim) and Frank (Cheryl); his grandchildren, Bard, Arch IV (Kathryn), Reed (Shelby), Jeff (Sharon), Jay (Julia), Chase and Sarah Beth (Kerry); his great grandchildren, Arch V, Baker, Marlowe, Violet, Sophia and Izzy; his stepdaughters, Helen Layne (John) and Beth Zarzour (Eddie); his cousin Charles Broadrick; and his caregivers, Ashley, Tymber, Heather, Joy and Rodney.
