He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Ligon and Lila Ligon; and his son Dr. Jeff Ligon (Cancer Clinic). He is survived by: his wife Beverly; his son Dr. Neal S. Ligon; his daughters-in-law, Gayle Ligon and Elizabeth Garner; his grandchildren, Meg, Foster, Samuel, Curren, Abby Ligon and Laura Carter (Craig); and his great grandchild Laura Gayle.
