As Bernice departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Bernice. Though Bernice may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Burton and Ida Burl Kyle (Inscore); and her husband Alex Land. She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Franklin, Cindy Franklin, Theresa Johnson and Holly Prince (David); her sister Wanda Kyle; and her grandchildren, Joe Franklin (Angela), Heather Shanks (Nick), Dennis "Po" Franklin (Sandra) and Jeremy Johnson. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
