We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2025, at the age of 94, Betty Jo Thompson of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Sherwood, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond W. Thompson; her son Michael Ray Thompson; her parents, Walter Garner and Louise Garner; her siblings, Thelma Moore, Ethel Stephens, Walter Garner Jr. and Charles Garner; and her grandmother Alice Simmons.
She is survived by: her daughter Janelle Thompson; and her brother Jerry Garner (Grace) of Decherd, TN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services (7454 E Brainerd Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
