He was predeceased by: his mother Della Mae Privett; his wife Charlotte Underwood Privett; his son Jeffery Dwight Privett; his parent Thomas H. Privett; and his siblings, Thomas Edward Privett, Ruby Privett, Maude Millsaps and Catherine "Mirt" Clemons.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer "Ginger" Teppenpaw (Bill), Julia Youngblood (Mike), Joel Daniel "Dan" Privett (Angela) of Hixson, TN and Jonathan David Privett (Michele); his grandchildren, Tiffany Miller (Jeff), Joshua Curtis (Katie), Jordan Baysore (Andrew), Cassandra "Cassie" John (Shane), Victoria Barrett (Andrew), Luke (Rachel), Elijah Privett (Hope), Cecelia "Cissie" Hixon (Sam) and Will Teppenpaw; his great grandchildren, Caleb, Christian, Clayton Miller, Henry, Evelyn Curtis, Charlotte, Graham Barrett, Audrey, Owen Privett, Madison, Ryleigh Baysore, Oliver John, Calloway Privett and Hailey Hixon; and his siblings, Hayden Privett, Lloyd Privett (Gladys), Bobby Privett (Darlene), Pauline Dennis, Sylvia Lovelady, Jessie Dobbs, Karen Duckett (Wesley) and Terri Scott.
