She was predeceased by: her mothers, Kennie Borden and Elsie Borden; her husband John "Eddie" Tapp; her siblings, Imogene Floyd (Leroy), Violia Floyd, Ezra Borden (Frances), Norman Borden and Jerry Borden; and her brother-in-law Pete Crum.
She is survived by: her son John Tapp II (Stacy); her granddaughters, Mattie and Macy Tapp; her siblings, Linda Crum, Nadine Leatherwood (Almous), Wanda Hodum (Gary) and Bobby Borden (Barbara); and her sister-in-law Johnnye Borden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
