She was predeceased by: her mother Maria; and her sister Edith Zinsmiester of Germany. She is survived by: her husband George Dimopoulos; her children, Elleni Dimopoulos and Dennis Dimopoulos (Barbara); her grandson Alex Tedrick; and her sisters-in-law, Ethel Winegar, Vicky Gavalas (Mike) and Kathy Mayfield (Ron). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chattanooga Funeral Home – North Chapel (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (722 Glenwood Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37404). A burial was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37402).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church in Chattanooga or to a favorite charity.
