He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Grady Thomas Sr. and Jean Pitts Thomas; and his stepdaughter Lara Gill Barbee. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Fuller Thomas; his children, Rebecca Holder (Andy) of Chattanooga, Charles G. Thomas III and Matthew Thomas of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, David Holder (Madie), Samantha, Miles Thomas, Carley, Rayden Thomas, Madi Daniels and Tensley Cordell; his great grandchild Delilah Holder; and his sisters, Sharon Gregory (Ron) of Hixson and Teresa Williams (Mark) of Dayton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
