She was predeceased by: her former husband Ronald Cathey; and her mother Dot Harmon. She is survived by: her sons, James Cordell (Janet) and Steve Cordell; her grandchildren, Kenshin Cordell and Kaia Cordell; her brothers, Allen Martin and Michael Martin; and her nephews, Michael Martin, Daniel Martin, Landon Martin and Jason Martin.
