She was predeceased by: her husband Charles B. Powell, Sr.; and her sisters, Edith Bean, Reba Sharpe and Azile Lockhart. She is survived by: her sons, Charles B. Powell, Jr. (Shellie) of Brentwood, TN and Gary L. Powell (Jennifer) of Nolensville, TN.; and her grandchildren, Hope, Faith, Joy, Grace, Luke, Alexis and Landon Powell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home (5401 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at the Hamilton Memorial Gardens (5351 TN-153, Hixson, TN 37343).
