He is survived by: his wife Brenda "Langston" Black; his children, April Taylor (Gene), John Black (Amy), Kris Bales (Brian) and Kelley Lawson; his brother Chester Black (Marcia); and his grandchildren, Abbie Black, Danielle Molathati, Brianna Lenain, Josh Bales, Megan Bales, Jadis Lawson and Brendilyn Rochelle. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
