He is survived by: his children, Kim Reynolds (Ron), Diane Sexton (William) and Charles Dowdey Jr. (Dianne); his grandchildren, Andrew Hulsey (Talara), Sadonya Sexton, Patricia Jane Francis (Christopher), Will Sexton (Meredith), Ryan Reynolds (Heather), Charles Dowdey III (Joanna) and Ben Dowdey (Brittany); his great grandchildren, Anleigh, Kate, Raiden, Liam, Lydia, Atlas, Cayden, Lincoln, Charles IV and Cara; and his sisters, Inez Mazeika and Genny Woods (Billy).
