He is survived by: his wife Diane Wiley of Marietta, GA; his daughters, Sally Diane Pargeon (Lee) of Signal Mountain, TN, Katie Lane Panou (Alex) of Whitby and Ontario; his grandchildren, Lauren Panou and Grant Panou; his sisters, Laverne Yancey of Memphis, TN and Norma Dunivant (Ed) of Farragut, TN; and his brother-in-law John David Wiley of Powell, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, great-great nieces, and great-great nephews.

He departed this life at home with his family on August 10, 2025, from the ravages of Alzheimer's. Charles was born in Memphis, TN on January 12, 1944, to Dorothy Click Slover and Clinton Fredrick Slover, both now deceased.
