She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Hamilton and Earnestine Hamilton; her husband Edward Coleman; her mother-in-law Elizabeth Coleman; her children, Wanda Hamilton, Linda Hamilton and Andre Coleman; her siblings, Beatrice Jenkins, Nason Hamilton, Charles Hamilton of Curtis Hamilton, J. W and Joe Wayne Hamilton; her brother-in-law Alvin Coleman; and her grandson Rheadie Harris, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Stamper (Robert), LaTanya Harden (Sharese) and Vernard Hamilton of South Bend, Indiana; her siblings, Bernice Hamilton of Indiana, Helen Hamilton of Indiana, Willie Hamilton of Mississippi, Roosevelt Hamilton of California and James Earl Hamilton of Indiana; and her sisters-in-law, Nanni B. Walker, Dorothy Coleman, Ada, Williams Blackmon of Indiana and Mary Lou Coleman. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, nineteen greatgrandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and a loving host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
