He was predeceased by: his parents, James Brumlow and Lillie Mae Brumlow; and his siblings, Marie Sherill, Mary Strickland, Ruth Woody, Irene Tesner, Patricia Green, Leonard Brumlow and Joe E. Brumlow.

He is survived by: his wife Melvia Bowman Brumlow; his son Douglas Leon Brumlow; and his brother Hershel W. Brumlow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the McKamey Animal Center, at mckameyanimalcenter.org or a favorite charity.
