He was predeceased by: his fathers, Walter Williams and Willard Williams of Gainesville; his wives, Ellen Foster Williams and Shirley A. Williams (Elder) of Chattanooga; and his siblings, Robert Williams and Esther Shackelford (Williams).
He is survived by: his sons, Aaron Higginbotham of Wake Forest, N. C., Eric Williams (Pamela) of Nashville and Errol Williams (Natalia) of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Errin Wesley Williams of Nashville and McKinley Merritt of Knoxville; and his siblings, Fred (late Geraldine), Truman (Janet), Harry Williams (Racheal) and Marilyn Lott (Williams). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and special friends.
