He was predeceased by: his parents, William S. Leatherman and Frances A. Leatherman of Catawba, NC; and his brothers, Charles Leatherman and Joe Leatherman. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Leatherman of Hixson, TN; his children, Leigh Anne Drake (Chris) of Hixson, Jennifer Lepere (Rocky) of Soddy Daisy and Aaron Leatherman (Sheree) of Harrison; and his brothers, Michael Leatherman of Charlotte, NC and Lawrence Leatherman of Catawba, NC. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or to Gideons International.
