He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Humphrey and Virginia Wallace Humphrey; his wife Vanessa Humphrey; his children, Dale Morris Stokes, Sr. (Lisha) and LaToya Sherise Grimes (Albert); his stepdaughter Chanda Jennings; and his grandchildren, Makhia Danielle Franklin, Mariah Shanell Franklin, Arissa Stokes, Dale Stokes, Jr., Maharie Grimes and Makarie Grimes. He was also cherished by several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
