He was predeceased by: his parents, Lois Delane Hobbs Gault and Tabor Gault. He is survived by: his wife Jackie Acuff Gault; his children, George "Andrew" Gault (Ana) and Sarah Leslie Gault Williamson (Ryan); his grandchildren, Matthew, Joshua, Michael, Sydney, Jack and Evy; and his sister Frances "Fran" Jo Gault Roland (Paul). He is also survived by many other extended family members and friends.
The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization close to David's heart.
