She was predeceased by: her parents, William Curtis Johnson Sr. and Jessie Lee Henson Johnson; her daughter Rhonda Golden; her son-in-law Tommy Blaylock; and her siblings, Virginia Lowe, Mary Katherine Bales, Betty Criscoe, Barbara Riggs, Dorothy Ray, James "Paul" Johnson and William "Bill" Johnson Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Freddy Lee Phillips; her daughters, Pamela Blaylock (Jerry Holcomb), Kathy Pepoy (Greg) and Susan Strickland (Luis Sanchez); her stepson Buddy Phillips (Beth); her grandchildren, Billy Newbille (Sonya), Amy Clinton (Terry), Joshua Blaylock (Kelly), Doug Blaylock (Andrea), Jessica Brown (Joey), Billy Kennell, Mindy Trammell, Stephanie Montoya, Teisha Kinamore (Kentrall), Scott Strickland Jr., Jordan Strickland and Destiny; her great grandchildren, Jayden Strickland, Janiah and Kaleb Kinamore; Patricia Sutton.
