He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Boyd and Cora Boyd; and his brothers, Jay R. Boyd, Ray Boyd and Kermit Boyd.
He is survived by: his wife Dana Boyd; his children, David Boyd (Katinka) and Emily Drake; his siblings, Curt Boyd (Kathy), Roy Boyd of Allen, KY, Bonnie Boyd and Evelyn McNeeley (Kevin) of Lorain, OH; his grandchildren, Taylor Cora Boyd (Dylan), Hannah Renee Drake and Benjamin Lee Drake; and his close friends, Jim Hillian (Julia), EJ Dishroon (Anna), Jeff Lewis (Billie) and Gary Akers of Burlington, KY.
