She was predeceased by: her parents, John Patton and Mary Elizabeth Hensley Patton; her husband Chester May Bookout; her son Timothy Herrell Bookout; and her siblings, June Patton Kazy, Thayer Patton and George Patton.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Byrns (James); and her grandson Elijah Byrns.
